🤞NBA Monday best bets: Can Celtics shut down Haliburton again?🏀

TheGx sports betting forum copy and paste machines reporting:

Welcome to another week of the NBA season. As the games are played, we'll continue churning out daily best bets. Here are our Monday wagers.

Tyrese Haliburton: Under 11.5 assists

Tyrese Haliburton has been an assist machine this season. Still, when the Pacers and Celtics met on Saturday, Boston implemented a masterful game plan to limit him. Despite averaging 12.7 assists on the season, Haliburton had just seven. Boston allows the third-fewest assists per game to point guards.

The Celtics sometimes guarded Haliburton near half court even when he didn't have the ball and experimented with zone defenses to stop Indiana's explosive offense. The Pacers will have counters in their rematch, but Boston's defense will still hinder Haliburton.

Odds: +100

DeMar DeRozan: Over 20.5 points

DeMar DeRozan's been the best player on a somewhat resurgent - and now healthy - Bulls squad. He's scored at least 21 points in seven of the last nine games. Even with Zach LaVine back, DeRozan should see an abundance of scoring opportunities as the go-to option.

He also has a favorable matchup playing the Hornets. Charlotte has the league's second-worst defensive rating and opponent effective field-goal percentage. Charlotte also gives up the fourth-most points to small forwards.

Odds: -110 (playable to -120)

Wizards team total: Under 116.5 points

The Wizards have the NBA's sixth-worst offensive rating. They average 115.1 points per game, which is actually around league average.

However, the Wizards are facing the Thunder, who own the NBA's seventh-best defense. Washington has scored more than 110 points once over the last six games, and that one time was against the Hawks, the league's third-worst defense.

The Thunder will score freely, which is why the game total is as high as 246.5. If this becomes a blowout - the spread is 11.5 - they could take their foot off the gas. But even if they do, Washington won't find it easy to compete, or score, against one of the Association's best teams.

Odds: -110 (playable to -130)

Collin Sexton: Over 17.5 points

We played Collin Sexton's over in a favorable matchup last week, and he soared past it. He's in another promising spot here as the Jazz play the Bucks.

Milwaukee has been horrific defensively and has especially struggled to stop point guards, giving up the sixth-most points per game to the position. The Bucks' perimeter defenders are weak, allowing opposing guards to knife into the paint and create for themselves.

Sexton's minutes fluctuate due to Utah's deep guard unit. His minutes sometimes reach the high 20s and other times fail to hit 25. That could be concerning for this prop, but assuming it's a competitive game, he should see enough action to reach at least 18 points. He's gotten there in five of the last seven games.

Odds: -120 (playable to -130)
